In April 2010 a 'mixtape' was requested for submission by Cunnilingus in order to be selected for a spot on the bill at a 'rave' being held at Colorado College. The bill was going to feature almost exclusively DJs and Cunnilingus was the only live act to submit a 'mixtape', which was to be submitted to promoter and organizer Ian McGee. He referred to the mix as 'not danceable' and Cunnilingus was not to be put on the bill. Somehow a second smaller room was added to the venue a few hours before the show, and Cunnilingus did end up playing a set.

The day that the mix was deemed 'not danceable' was a very special day. It upset the band so much that they went immediately into the studio to write and record what would become one of their favorite tracks, "Dance". It has rarely been said, if ever, but McGee's scathing review of this mix changed the course of Cunnilingus' music forever, and for that- the band is grateful. So cheers Mr. McGee and go fuck yourself...just kidding.
